Chicago, Illinois, August 15- 2001. Association Laboratory today named Sara Cameron May, MSEd, EdD as their new Vice President of Association Research. Sara will be responsible for overseeing all client research activities and managing the market research and new product development components of Association Laboratory. "I'm excited about the opportunity to leverage Sara's extensive association knowledge to guide the development of effective research projects on behalf of our clients," said Dean West, President, Association Laboratory. "I have nothing but respect for her understanding of the unique challenges faced by associations." Sara Cameron May has a master's and a doctoral degree in continuing professional education. She has held the positions of Director of Professional Development at the Association of Legal Administrators, the Director of Programs at the American Judicature Society, and acted as the Director of Publications and Marketing for two personal membership groups at the American Hospital Association. Her most recent position was Manager of Accreditation, Educational Research and CME Courses at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Over the past ten years, she has been researching how associations go about producing continuing professional education and how they achieve best practices. She specializes in educational research including evaluation and needs assessment, education program and product development and marketing. Association Laboratory specializes in the research, development and execution of marketing and organizational strategy for associations. Association Laboratory serves a nation-wide client base of trade associations and professional societies. The company was founded in 1999 and currently has offices in Chicago, IL and Washington, DC.
