Planning & Development of Member-get-a-Member Campaign Client Description The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery was founded in 1970 to promote excellence in the subspecialty of dermatologic surgery and foster the highest standards of patient care. The Society is the largest specialty group in dermatology and represents the fastest-growing segment of dermatologic practice. ASDS supports clinical and basic research grants; continuing education and the training of its members; legislative and regulatory advocacy; dissemination of public information and community outreach programs. Currently, approximately 2,500 members have joined the Society. Project Description The ASDS contracted with Association Laboratory to plan and implement a member-get-a-member campaign designed to increase the number of qualified applicants for membership in the Society. Association Laboratory developed a business and marketing plan for approval by staff then drafted all materials including a description for leadership, marketing letters and follow-up correspondence.
