November 15, 2018 – Association Laboratory has launched its annual association environmental research project, “Looking Forward 2019,” a collaborative research effort conducted with leaders of the association management profession. This year, Association Laboratory is expanding its outreach by including state association executives from Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, California, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Iowa. Also participating will be AAMSE (American Association of Medical Society Executives ) and National Association of Manufacturers.
Association Laboratory's Nikki Haton is scheduled to speak at the New England Society for Association Executives 2019 Annual Management Conference. The upcoming 2018 Annual Conference will be held January 16-17, 2019 in Framingham, Massachusetts. Nikki will be presenting "Building a Leadership Pipeline".

Association Laboratory recently produced the Planning for the Meetings of Tomorrow Meeting Planners Seminar. This seminar reviewed Association Laboratory’s meetings technology environmental scan, Planning for the Meetings of Tomorrow, which was conducted with the support of the PCMA Education Foundation, and discussed preliminary recommendations developed at the CEO Summit. Participants discussed the results of the research and reviewed the recommendations for application to their meetings and convention strategy.
