LOOKING FORWARD™ 2019 FUTURES COURSE

A Three-Part Webinar Series

Join Association Laboratory as it leads a three-part webinar course that will help senior association leaders prepare for their organization’s future by deep-diving into insights from the longest environmental scan in the association industry, Looking Forward™.  Led by Dean West, President and Founder of Association Laboratory, and based on the most recent Looking Forward 2019 research, participants will enjoy three weeks of advancing their knowledge on factors impacting the association environment, implications on association strategy, and solutions to challenges associations face.

This Course will me once a week during a sixty-minute webinar, over the span of a three week period.

COURSE CURRICULUM

Day 1 – Factors Impacting the Association Environment –  Thursday, March 14,  2019 – 1:00 PM EST/12:00 PM CST

Association Laboratory tested fifty-three environmental factors affecting organizational and individual association members. From data security, to mergers and acquisitions, to training and education discover, all the top factors and common themes members are experiencing today. Five key areas of influence will be introduced: Economy, Information and Technology, Workforce, Government, and Globalization.

Day 2 – Implications on Association Strategy –  Thursday, March 21,  2019 – 1:00 PM EST/12:00 PM CST

Build upon the knowledge and insights gained from Day 1.  Association Laboratory also tested fifty-one potential implications that could result from the business environment, and affect association strategy. From member recruitment and retention to content strategy, understand the concerns of association leaders on the five key areas of influence: Economy, Information and Technology, Workforce, Government, and Globalization.

Day 3 –   Solutions to Challenges Associations Face – Thursday, March 28, 2019 – 1:00 PM EST/12:00 PM CST

Continue expanding your knowledge on the final day of this course with insights into what associations are doing about the challenges they face. For the first time, the 2019 study assessed 30 solutions association leaders plan on implementing in the next twelve months and which will be most important to their association’s success.
