Nikki Golden, CAE, most recently was executive director of the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, growing membership revenue 46 percent as well as successfully expanding its Young Surgeons Program.
Nikki has been recognized for her work in the association world, making the inaugural list of Association Forum of Chicagoland/USAE Forty Under 40 list. Nikki is an active member of Association Forum of Chicagoland, where she has just started her three-year term on the Board. She has also served Forum on its Editorial Working Group and Content Planning Committee, chaired the CAE Working Group and Membership SIG. She also frequently facilitates for the Association Forum’s CAE Study Course and its Association 101 program, has presented at Forum Forward and has been a contributor to FORUM magazine. Nikki also is active in ASAE, having served as a member of its Marketing Professionals Advisory Council for the past three years, creating content and education around virtual event marketing and the importance of data.
Nikki has previous experience working in both marketing and membership, with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the National Roofing Contractors Association. She has also served as a freelance marketing and communication professional over the years on several independent association-related and media projects.
Nikki holds a bachelor’s of science in news/editorial and magazine journalism from Ball State University and received her CAE in 2013. She also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the USF Corporate Training and Professional Education program.
